Responsible for advancing the IntelliSee AI risk mitigation platform, which detects and alerts on threats and risks ranging from common to catastrophic, while continuously expanding risk types and detection methods. Work closely with the executive team to define the product roadmap and vision, ensuring it meets both current and future needs. Design and manage the architecture, product, infrastructure, and codebase, delivering new functionality on time, within scope, and on budget. Execute the product roadmap through rapid research and development (R&D), code implementation, testing, and release cycles by leveraging both in-house development and a network of trusted partners.
Drive quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring continuous improvements to the platforms core capabilities and transparency. Strengthen the brands credibility, ethics, and reputation, collaborating with internal teams, distributors, insurance/risk partners, and customers to not only meet but exceed expectations in pursuit of IntelliSees mission of creating a safer world.
• Participate in all stages of software development, including planning, programming, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Understand and perform basic analysis of previously written code and be able to modify and maintain the code.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, test and deploy object detection models.
• Solve complex problems using stable Python code.
• Work as part of a product development team to create and build new features.
• Analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Review, optimize, and simplify code.
• Perform development tasks with a high level of quality, and within scheduled time frames.
• React quickly to solve problems identified by customers.
• Travel up to 25% of the time for customer visits, internal team meetings, and continuous learning primarily in Coralville, IA and surrounding areas.
• Occasional travel to other states.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field with two years of experience to include experience with advanced computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and development OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field with coursework and/or background in:
• advanced computer vision, deep learning, and artificial intelligence
• designing and training novel deep learning architectures
• knowledge about mathematical techniques, statistical methods and optimization
• image processing and machine learning algorithms
• knowledge about classical computer vision algorithms
• signal processing techniques
• familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras
• programming languages including Python, MATLAB, or C++
• ability to apply machine learning algorithms to real-world problems
• knowledge about business productivity tools like MS Office or Google Workspace
