🔎 What we're looking for in general

Tasks

  1. Translate technical requirements into detailed backend designs that creates tier 1 scalable systems and a joyful experience for the customer.
  2. Be responsible for driving innovation, maintainability, improving performance, scalability, and creating headless systems under strict timelines.
  3. Lead backend engineering and solve complex problems such as:
  1. Integrate our technology with the following external systems:

Requirements

  1. Experience in python (4+ years)
  2. Experience in AWS ecosystem (4+ years)
  3. Experience with banking integrations (1+ years). Not required but valued.
  4. Experience with accounting integrations (1+ years). Not required but valued.
  5. Experience with payment gateways and processors like Stripe (1+ years)
  6. Experience with backend development and different technologies (MQ’s, cache’s, architectural patterns, etc..)
  7. Experience with writing tests (Unit / Integration / Performance)
  8. Hands on with performance and optimisation problems and demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
  9. Extreme attention to detail, obsession for scalable systems
  10. Hands-on with CI/CD
  11. We use GitHub Actions, AWS code deploy
  12. Working knowledge of cyber security
  13. Experience with postman

Our steps:

  1. Initial interview with Seb (30 - 45 minutes): Let’s talk about what makes you, you, and technical your accomplishments so far.
  2. Technical challenge. We want to see how you approach a diffif problem.
  3. Final interview with Seb (1h)
  4. Reference call withs your (former) colleagues. At the same time you'll get to talk to one of our investors and one of our advisors. There you can ask any question.
  5. We make an offer
