About the Role Our client is seeking a highly capable and independent Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely. Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy. Process payroll and manage related tax filings. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Manage vendor payments and ensure timely disbursement. Track and manage company expenses and budget adherence. Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation and audits. Develop and implement efficient bookkeeping processes and internal controls. Maintain organized and accessible financial records. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience, including full-charge responsibilities. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for remote collaboration. Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
