Role: IT Business Analyst
Job Type: Permanent
Location: North West, Remote Working
Salary: £37,000- £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the ongoing development and improvement of our customer-facing digital platforms.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, developers, support teams, and customers to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver system enhancements that make a real impact. You'll bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, ensuring solutions are clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and successfully delivered.
What you'll be doing
Gathering and analysing business requirements for new projects, system enhancements, and process improvements
Translating business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
Working closely with developers and technical teams to deliver effective solutions
Supporting Agile delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and change requests
Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business requirements
Identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement
Supporting software releases, deployment planning, and stakeholder communication
Helping modernise and de-risk key business-critical systems
Qualifications
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role
Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within software delivery environments using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into practical solutions
Experience supporting testing activities, user acceptance testing, and system change delivery
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical awareness
Whilst this isn't a developer role, you'll be comfortable working with technical teams and have an understanding of:
Business applications and system integrations
Databases and SQL concepts
APIs, interfaces, imports and exports
Software deployment and release management
Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure DevOps, .NET, or similar environments
