Online Instructor - Physical Science
Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Online Instructor - Physical Science is located in the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This is a part-time position, and is open for recruitment.

ONLINE - Mid-City Campus
COMPENSATION:
Salary: $2,295 per 3 credit course taught
Estimated Hours per Week: Summer Schedule
Dates/Times - Day, night and weekend classes; various times available

Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a physical science (i.e. chemistry, climatology, earth science, geology,
geophysics, hydrology, petrology, physics, meteorology, oceanography) or a master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in a physical science or applied physical science (i.e. engineering).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a physical science
Previous Online Teaching experience.
Job Concepts
Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
