The Account Manager will manage client relationships, collaborate with internal teams, and develop marketing plans to enhance advertising performance.
Responsibilities
- Manages all client communications and relationships with brand partners in an organized and effective manner
- Works and collaborates with internal team
- Owns client’s marketing and media plans
- Uses tracking and analytics to look for opportunities to increase advertising performance
- Executes projects to be high quality, on-time, and cost-effective/on-budget
- Understands the client’s business and industry; continuously studies the client's industry for insights into consumer and online behavior
- Develops unique strategies and builds on existing strategies
- Effectively manages client expectations and proactively seeks out solutions to possible concerns
- Occasional travel to client location(s)
- Flexible with changing deadlines and priorities
- Keeps track of all open jobs and their status. Review with the client at a cadence that makes the most sense for each account (i.e., weekly, bi-weekly)
Skills
- 3+ years of client-facing account management experience in a full-service agency setting
- Background in B2B or conversion-driven industry is strongly preferred
- Strategic thinker and result-driven problem solver
- Budget and billing management experience
- Paid media experience with an understanding of performance metrics
- Experience recommending and coordinating paid media campaigns along with an understanding of and ability to present performance metrics
- Highly organized and account detail-oriented; strong project management experience
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to drive client goals by collaborating well with internal teams
- Understanding of tracking, analytics, and reporting
- Deadline and detail-oriented on constantly changing digital advertising as well as other large and complex projects such as websites and videos
- Superior communication and presentation skills including the ability to build effective presentations and have hard conversations
- Coordination between the media team, accounting team, and the client as needed for monthly billing purposes
- Knowledge of trucking industry is a plus
