BMA Group Global is seeking an Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The role includes recording financial transactions, preparing reconciliations, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
Responsibilities
- Record, classify, and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analyses as requested
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
- Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and files
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements as applicable
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business operations
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems preferred
