The role involves preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, and managing month-end close processes, while also supporting the transition to Workday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate any discrepancies across multiple entities
- Own key parts of the process during close
- Manage deadlines
- Resolve issues quickly
- Support fixed assets
- Support accruals
- Support intercompany accounting
- Partner with finance and ERP teams
- Validate data and improve processes
Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on operational accounting
- Strong ownership of month-end close
- Experience preparing and reviewing: Journal entries
- Experience preparing and reviewing: Balance sheet reconciliations
- Recent work experience with a large/complex organization
- Experience with workday
