Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LHH is collaborating with a nonprofit organization to bring on a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support the Membership team. This role focuses on delivering strong administrative and member-focused support, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the membership base.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Membership Manager for tasks related to the Collaborate community platform
- Assist in planning and coordinating AFP Regionals activities
- Deliver customer support by responding to questions about membership benefits and value
- Handle membership inquiries via email, phone, and voicemail in a timely manner
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of AFP membership pricing, benefits, and value to answer questions and promote membership
- Coordinate and host virtual training sessions, including managing platforms like Zoom, running practice sessions with speakers, advancing slides, and facilitating Q&A
- Respond promptly to training-related inquiries across communication channels
- Partner with the finance team to create and track invoices for partners and training services
- Support corporate client processes, including invoicing, contracts, course scheduling, and related communications
- Prepare and distribute materials for seminars, custom trainings, and educational events, ensuring timely delivery
- Collaborate with the training team to develop and maintain SOPs for training-related operations
Skills
- 2+ years of administrative or membership support experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
