Oklahoma Department of Human Services is seeking an Administrative Technician III to provide customer service support in a virtual setting. The role involves answering inquiries, assisting with Electronic Benefit Card issues, and maintaining compliance with business processes.
Responsibilities
- This position is a full-time virtual setting
- Answer incoming calls to assist customers with inquiries, answer general questions, and enter and retrieve client information as needed
- Answer incoming phone calls to assist customers with questions, inquiries, and troubleshooting issues pertaining to Electronic Benefit Card (EBT) for SNAP and Childcare
- Ability to triage calls and transfer to appropriate program area as needed
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring that inquiries and concerns are handled professionally and in a timely manner
- Demonstrate the ability to handle difficult situations with respect and courtesy
- Participate in individual and staff conferences
- Must attend all mandatory training associated with the position
- Have the ability to multi-task, write, present, and interpret information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
- Maintain compliance with Adult and Family Services business processes, policies, and standards
- Performing various backup duties as required
Skills
- 24 months of clerical office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance
