Responsibilities
- Explore and interpret datasets to identify meaningful patterns and insights
- Assist in designing and evaluating predictive and classification models
- Support data preparation, feature engineering, and model validation activities
- Apply statistical techniques to answer business and operational questions
- Develop analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making
- Create visualizations and presentations to communicate findings effectively
- Participate in experimentation, hypothesis testing, and performance measurement initiatives
- Support the deployment and monitoring of data science solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve data accessibility and usability
- Stay current with developments in machine learning, analytics, and data science methodologies
Skills
- Strong foundation in Data Science and applied Statistics to support modeling, experimentation, and evidence-based recommendations
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for cleaning, transforming, and interpreting complex datasets
- Experience with Data Visualization to build clear, intuitive dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools and languages (e.g., Python or R, SQL, and common data science libraries)
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly, both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with distributed teams and managing time independently
- Interest in the future of work, remote careers, and marketplace or platform products; prior experience in a tech or staffing environment is a plus
