FPT Americas is seeking an experienced L2 Atlassian Administrator with expertise in managing Jira, Confluence, and JSM in enterprise environments. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve platform utilization.
Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across Atlassian tools and supporting infrastructure
- Perform in-depth log analysis across application, database, and server layers
- Own and manage incident resolution within SLAs, including escalations from L1 teams
- Execute and support upgrades, migrations, and patching activities with minimal guidance
- Maintain system performance, reliability, and availability through proactive monitoring and tuning
- Collaborate effectively with Dev, QA, DevOps, and Infra teams for root cause analysis and permanent fixes
- Contribute to automation, scripting, and operational efficiency improvements
- Ensure documentation, RCA reports, and knowledge sharing are consistently maintained
- Follow and enforce security, compliance, and access governance standards
- Administer, configure, and maintain Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Manage workflows, schemes, permissions, plugins, and integrations
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability
- Provide support for enterprise development tools integrated within the Atlassian ecosystem
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across multiple layers (application, infrastructure, DB)
- Ensure incident, problem, and change management processes are followed
- Administer and support Linux and Windows servers
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware environments
- Handle PostgreSQL databases, including maintenance and performance tuning
- Support deployments, upgrades, migrations, and environment setup
- Perform health checks, monitoring, and capacity planning
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve platform utilization
- Act as a go-to technical SME for L1 teams and provide guidance when needed
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents
- Maintain operational and configuration documentation
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Skills
- 5+ years of expertise in managing Jira, Confluence, and JSM in enterprise environments
- Strong application troubleshooting and log analysis capabilities
- Knowledge in Atlassian PostgreSQL database administration (backup, recovery, performance tuning)
- Knowledge of enterprise application support environments
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across Atlassian tools and supporting infrastructure
