Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PTSOL ® - Progressive Technology Solutions is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco ISE. The role involves implementing and supporting NAC solutions, providing advanced support, and maintaining network authentication documentation in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for NAC-related issues
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Maintain Network authentication runbooks, Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Architecture diagrams
Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (2.x / 3.x)
- Experience implementing and supporting NAC solutions using Cisco ISE
- Strong understanding of Policy Sets (Authentication & Authorization)
- Strong understanding of Conditions, Profiles, and Rules logic
- Strong understanding of Endpoint Profiling and Posturing
- Strong understanding of 802.1X (wired and wireless)
- Strong understanding of MAB (MAC Authentication Bypass)
- Strong understanding of Guest/BYOD onboarding workflows
- Experience Authentication & Identity Integration
- Experience with Active Directory / LDAP / Azure AD
- Experience with PKI and EAP methods (PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST)
- Experience with RADIUS/TACACS+
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for NAC-related issues
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Experience with change management processes, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Maintain Network authentication runbooks, Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Architecture diagrams
- Experience working in enterprise environments with strict change control
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
