Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Opus Recruitment Solutions is supporting a growing consumer-focused business in their search for a talented Digital Designer. This role involves designing a wide range of digital assets, with a focus on motion graphics and engaging content for social and video platforms, particularly YouTube.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality digital assets across a variety of channels, including YouTube, social media, display advertising, email, and web
- Design attention-grabbing motion graphics and animations that enhance brand storytelling
- Produce static creative assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Develop original visual concepts from scratch, rather than relying solely on stock photography or existing product imagery
- Create engaging visual montages, illustrations, and digital compositions that resonate with target audiences
- Collaborate closely with copywriters and wider creative teams to bring campaign ideas to life
- Apply YouTube creative best practices to maximise audience engagement and performance
- Leverage AI-powered creative tools to support ideation and content creation where appropriate
- Ensure all creative output is consistent, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard
Skills
- Proven experience working as a Digital Designer, Creative Designer, or similar role
- Strong motion graphics experience and a portfolio showcasing both animated and static digital content
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Figma
- Experience using AI-powered design tools such as Midjourney, video AI platforms, and other emerging creative technologies
- Ability to generate realistic imagery and creative concepts using AI tools, such as creating photorealistic people, product visualisations, and attention-grabbing scenes
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, composition, branding, and digital marketing creative
- Experience creating assets specifically for YouTube and a strong understanding of platform best practice
- Experience working with established brands, either in-house or within an agency environment
- Ability to take a concept from initial idea through to final execution
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, commercial awareness, and digital-first thinking
- Immediate/short-notice availability preferred
