The HRIS Analyst role focuses on maintaining and optimizing HR systems, particularly Workday, while providing support, troubleshooting, and training for end users.
Responsibilities
- Managing the HR Systems Servicedesk ticket queue and triage incoming tickets
- Provide prompt, ongoing support for team members by researching and resolving system issues and building effective solutions
- Participate in testing new system functionalities, support end-user training, system configurations, data conversions, and vendor release activities
- Support vendor releases including impact analysis, testing new features, and identifying opportunities to leverage new functionality
- Maintain documentation for work instructions and process flows
- Design, build, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
Skills
- Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Proactive curiosity beyond simply completing tasks, with a passion for solving problems and growing core knowledge base
- Comfortable with continuous learning with new technologies such as AI tools
- Excel knowledge (Vlookup, pivot tables, basic functions)
- Workday configuration across multiple SKUs
- Generally requires a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using Workday in any of the functional areas
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
