Responsibilities
- Lead the standardization of application deployments, containerization, and release processes across our organization
- Design and implement consistent, repeatable deployment pipelines that eliminate the friction and inconsistency that comes from teams each rolling their own solutions
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes
- Establish shared CI/CD frameworks
- Create the tooling and documentation that empowers engineering teams to ship reliably and confidently
- Define best practices and golden paths that make the right way the easy way
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field required
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Certification in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or equivalent preferred
