Ice Capital Recruitment is seeking a Lead EDI Integration Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and support of enterprise EDI solutions. The role involves modernizing legacy integration platforms, developing scalable EDI solutions, and ensuring the reliability of business-critical systems across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise EDI integrations using X12, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI), and IBM ITX
- Enhance and modernize legacy COBOL and DB2 applications through API and cloud integration
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues while maintaining system performance and availability
- Drive best practices for secure integrations, automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational excellence
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor's degree is required - Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise EDI solutions
- Strong expertise with EDI X12, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM ITX, COBOL, and DB2
- Experience integrating legacy systems with modern APIs and cloud technologies
- Solid understanding of secure file transfer protocols, encryption, digital certificates, and key management
- Excellent technical leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills
