Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Artisan Talent is seeking a Product Designer to create thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences for the healthcare industry. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs, while also conducting user research and usability testing to validate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex user and business requirements into intuitive wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Present and advocate for design recommendations to client stakeholders, clearly explaining the “why” behind design decisions
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and other discovery activities to understand user needs and validate design solutions
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, strategically aligned, and implemented accurately
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback, technical constraints, client input, and evolving business priorities
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, reusable components, and consistent UI patterns across digital products
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and UX/UI best practices to inform design decisions
- Balance user needs, business goals, accessibility standards, and technical feasibility throughout the design process
Skills
- 2+ years of professional UX/UI Design, Digital Product Design, or User Experience Design experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, and design thinking
- Strong proficiency with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, component libraries, and high-fidelity interface design
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile experiences
- Experience working directly within agile delivery teams alongside project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders
- Experience with the full design lifecycle, including research, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity design, usability testing, and iteration
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and user-centered design principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human Factors, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Healthcare, health technology, or other complex regulated industry experience
- Previous consulting or agency experience
- Experience contributing to design systems or enterprise component libraries
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
