They are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of their integrations product area, focusing on seamless connections with enterprise Human Capital Management ecosystems, particularly Workday.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a Product Designer and Engineering to validate customer needs
- You'll take integrations—like a Workday-certified connection—from initial concept and data mapping through certification and General Availability (GA)
- Serve as the Product Owner in Agile ceremonies
- You'll own backlog grooming, prioritize feature requests based on target KPIs, and actively unblock development teams daily
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to build launch strategies, design deployment playbooks, and bring new integration partnerships to market
- Track metrics that matter—including sync success rates, customer time-to-integrate, and support volumes—to continuously optimize performance
- Provide feature training, answer product questions, and keep the broader company informed on your product line's success
Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Integration Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant
- Proven track record of shipping API products or integration platforms, ideally within the HR-Tech/HCM space
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, webhooks, SFTP, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, enterprise authentication patterns, and JSON/XML payloads
- The ability to map complex data flows across multiple connected systems and anticipate downstream impacts
- Comfortable speaking the same language as internal engineers and customer IT teams without needing a translator
- The ability to use data to make tough decisions and comfortably say 'no' to protect team focus
- A collaborative spirit who can rally cross-functional teams around a shared vision
- Hands-on familiarity with Workday Web Services (WWS), Studio, EIB, Extend, and Workday Recruiting/HCM data models
- Bonus points if you have experience with other HCM/ATS platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Oracle, UKG, Greenhouse)
