They are seeking a Product Manager to oversee the Data Platform, Integrations Ecosystem, and Marketing & Source Data, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality for customers.
Responsibilities
- Define the roadmap for the Data Platform, Integrations Ecosystem, and Marketing & Source Data
- Unblock engineering and facilitate customer connections to Element451
- Work on data products and understand ETL/ELT patterns, API design, and webhook reliability
- Communicate effectively with IT teams and data administrators to solve product problems
- Align engineering, design, sales, and executive leadership around a shared vision
Skills
- Experience in product management or have been doing the work of a PM without the title
- Experience working on data products
- Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, API design, webhook reliability
- Ability to read an API spec and write a SQL query to validate assumptions
- Informed opinion on REST vs. webhooks vs. event streaming
- Ability to see how a change to the data model ripples across downstream features
- Ability to design for extensibility
- Ability to make clear prioritization calls in the middle of complexity
- Customer-obsessed with energy from talking to IT teams and data administrators
- Ability to translate technical issues into product problems worth solving
- Clear communication skills, including writing well and presenting confidently
- Ability to align engineering, design, sales, and executive leadership around a shared vision
- Experience in EdTech or higher education SIS and CRM ecosystems (Slate, Salesforce, Banner, Colleague, etc.)
- Familiarity with iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft) or building on top of them
- Background in vertical SaaS where data fidelity is a competitive differentiator
- Experience designing or managing public APIs and developer-facing products
