Reliance Matrix is a company focused on fostering an inclusive culture and is seeking a Project Manager Lead IS to manage strategic IT projects as part of a multi-year transformation program. The role involves partnering with various stakeholders, managing project schedules, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to project team by managing project scheduling, RAID management, change management, and status reporting
- Project duties include requirements gathering, guiding internal customers through the project life cycle, and supporting go-live and post-implementation support
- Create and maintain project documents in various capacities and regularly conduct internal and external project reviews to work to improve processes
- Manage/coordinate agile ceremonies with the Product Owners and concerned business partners and coach individuals in Agile processes and tools
- Help teams to clarify goals and activities to be on-track, ensure the correct use of agile process, and monitor/eliminate team conflicts
- Understand a given business case, analyzes the results of any feasibility studies, and assists management with the core definition of a given project
- Works with Quality Assurance to assure results of deliverables meet accuracy standards and facilitates User Acceptance Testing
- Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; communicate goals, timelines, and deliverables effectively across team
- Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution and tracking impact
- Refine and adjust tactics to best suit the organization and its project success
- Assist peers and others in traditional and agile project management activities
- Other duties as defined by management, including RFI and RFP development and evaluation; vendor and partner management
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related IT discipline preferred
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing and delivering large scale projects with minimum 4 years in an Agile and SAFe environment required
- PMP Certification is strongly preferred and SAFe certification would be desirable
- Insurance and healthcare industry knowledge is recommended
- Must be proficient with Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps and Jira) as well as with presentation tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), etc
- Excellent knowledge of Agile and Scrum with proven experience coaching, mentoring and coaching junior Agile practitioners
- Experience participating in and facilitating discussions to discover solutions, capturing and transforming business and technology requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience exercising mature judgment in delicate situations
- Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level with the capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization
- Should have leadership experience with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to be collaborative with individuals from diverse disciplines to optimize results
- Experience implementing best practices and standards related to Agile scrum development & testing practices
- Ability to manage challenging tasks and projects involving emerging technologies and methodologies
- Work in hybrid working environment with flexibility to work onsite/remote as necessary is required
