They are seeking a full-time Math Teacher to teach using a structured curriculum, receive paid training, and have opportunities for long-term growth in teaching and curriculum roles.
Responsibilities
• Teach math classes in a clear, engaging, and student-centered way
• Deliver lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance
• Support students in building strong understanding in topics across different grade levels
• Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive, high-expectation learning environment
• Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback
• Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and learning goals
• Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development
• Work approximately 30–40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
Skills
• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress
• Strong math foundation
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Available for paid training in April or May and able to begin teaching in early summer
• Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom teaching, or working with students
• Available to attend a 10-day on-site training (paid) in San Jose, CA as part of onboarding
• Math competition background (such as AMC or related experience)
