The Sales and Implementation Representative II will serve as a strategic partner to Regional Sales Directors, leading clients through onboarding and implementation while driving business growth and building strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support business development activities, including pipeline management, lead generation, broker engagement, and sales opportunity tracking
- Collaborate with clients, brokers, and internal teams to develop client-focused solutions, support proposals and presentations, and guide plan design discussions
- Lead all implementation activities from contract execution through account setup, first payroll, first funding cycle, and successful transition to Client Services
- Manage onboarding projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating implementation meetings, monitoring timelines, and ensuring all milestones are achieved
- Provide consultative guidance on products, services, system functionality, and implementation best practices while proactively identifying and resolving onboarding challenges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to support client satisfaction, retention, and long-term success
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Four or more years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, account management, client success, or a related field
- Experience serving as a primary client contact and leading customers through onboarding, implementation, and transition activities
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and virtual meeting and collaboration tools
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%
- Knowledge of COBRA and tax-advantaged benefit programs
- Experience in benefits administration, the health insurance industry, or working with insurance brokers and carriers
- Experience supporting complex client implementations in a highly regulated environment
