The Salesforce QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality applications that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations
- Perform functional and regression tests across Salesforce and connected systems (e.g., billing, document generation, integrations)
- Validate complex business processes across multiple systems (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, Zuora, DocuSign, and related tools)
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and complete
- Identify, log, and track defects; partner with developers through resolution and retesting
- Support release management and deployment validation in sandbox and production environments
- Build and maintain automated test coverage where appropriate
- Improve QA processes, documentation, and testing standards across the team
- Participate in sprint ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Skills
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience with Salesforce
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality including CPQ
- Experience testing integrations and end-to-end business processes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into thorough test coverage
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with Zuora and DocuSign
- Experience with test automation tools
- Knowledge of Salesforce data structures
- Experience supporting UAT with business stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform App Builder)
