Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fishwife is a modern, values-driven food company focused on making ethically sourced, premium tinned seafood a daily staple. They are seeking a Senior Analyst, Systems and Data to manage their ERP, EDI, and SaaS environment, ensuring critical systems and data support the business operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Convert business problems into system solutions, through recommended workflows, system solutions, automated dashboards, or further integrations
- Build and maintain integrations between business systems (ERP, EDI, WMS, e-commerce, CRM, finance, marketing) using APIs, iPaaS tools, and middleware. Monitor that order and inventory transactions are complete and accurate between systems
- Manage EDI trading partner relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, document mapping, exception handling, and ensuring reliable order, shipment, and invoice flow
- Identify repetitive or manual workflows across the business and automate them; partner with department leads to scope, prioritize, and deliver automations with measurable impact
- Build and maintain a centralized data warehouse (or equivalent infrastructure) that consolidates data from across our platforms into a clean, reliable source of truth
- Stand up and maintain BI dashboards and reporting that give leadership and department heads real-time visibility into the business. Lead data democratization initiatives that empower cross-functional users to access and model data for departmental needs
- Apply AI tools (LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows, AI features in existing platforms) to solve real business problems, and establish responsible-use guidelines around data, accuracy, and governance
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and trading partner specs
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to convey ideas between technical and non-technical audiences
- Practical technical background, including some combination of:
- Troubleshooting an ERP and managing EDI environments
- Setting up BI dashboards and working with data warehouse / reporting infrastructure
- Familiarity with WMS, 3PL integrations, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel & Google Suite
- Experience in CPG, food & beverage, consumer goods, or DTC/wholesale environments
- Experience working in smaller or growing brands where ownership and flexibility are required
- Exposure or experience to Cin7, Modus, and QuickBooks a plus, although relevant alternative system experience is suitable
- Scripting in Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
