As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development of advanced data-driven models and applications to drive insights and innovation within the organization, working with complex real estate data sets to solve challenging problems.
Responsibilities
- Work with large and complex real estate data sets to extract meaningful insights and patterns and solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
- Apply predictive and quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data visualizations to develop strategies for our product, reporting and research teams
- Innovate, define, understand, design, and build prototypes of AI/ML models to drive our product roadmap
- Hands-on development of MLOps, including creating training and testing data sets, model training, testing, and deployment
- Continuously refine and optimize ML models to improve accuracy and performance
- Develop methodologies for evaluating model performance, including A/B testing and cross-validation
- Identify and measure success of product features through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Research and other cross functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions and drive business decisions
- Stay up-to-date with cutting edge MLOps and AI technologies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, AI, and MLOps
- Expert in SQL and advance SQL
- Proficient in Python or R
- Proficient in ML frameworks, tools, and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook
- Strong data manipulation, data wrangling, and data mining skills for analysis
- Experience with predictive modeling, ML, data wrangling, data cleaning
- Expert in Databricks, AWS Sagemaker, Rekognition, Redshift, Comprehend, Lex
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Master's degree or a Ph.D. in a quantitative field is a plus
- Experience with AWS Lambda or Glue jobs
- AWS Architect Certification is a plus
