EPAM Systems is a leading company in digital transformation and technology solutions, seeking a Senior Backend Drupal Developer to enhance enterprise Drupal solutions. In this role, you will develop custom modules, optimize API integrations, and build Drupal sites while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create robust digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules that extend core functionality to meet business requirements
- Implement and optimize API integrations for seamless information exchange between systems
- Build and configure Drupal sites using best practices for performance, security, and scalability
- Work effectively within the Acquia platform ecosystem including Cloud IDE and related tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Stay current with emerging Drupal technologies including AI capabilities and Canvas features
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Drupal architecture, core concepts, and development best practices
- Experience developing custom modules and extending Drupal functionality through code
- Demonstrated ability to implement and consume APIs within Drupal environments
- Proficiency in Drupal site building including content types, taxonomies, and configuration management
- Familiarity with the Acquia platform and its product ecosystem including Cloud IDE
- Understanding of Drupal's API structure and methods for information exchange
- Experience with Drupal frontend development, Drupal AI, or Drupal Canvas is a plus
