Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trillium Health Resources is a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization serving 46 counties across North Carolina. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide analysis and auditing functions within the finance department, applying accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis to support business planning and decision-making processes
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Prepare and present accurate monthly summary of expenses and direct costs with concise action-oriented commentary and analysis
- Compile, review, and analyze financial information/statements
Skills
- High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
- Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
- Equivalent combination of education/experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must reside within North Carolina
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required
- Experience with 'Dynamic Arrays' within Microsoft Excel
