WiserBrand is an international digital solutions company that provides strategic consulting, advanced software development, eCommerce, digital marketing, customer support, automation, and AI-powered solutions for clients worldwide. They are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong automation expertise to own both manual and automated testing efforts and help define and evolve their QA strategy as the product scales.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases (functional, integration, regression)
- Develop and maintain automated E2E tests using Playwright (TypeScript)
- Define and drive the QA strategy and overall testing approach
- Collaborate with developers, POs, and designers to align on quality goals
- Create and maintain test plans, test data, and QA documentation
- Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing
- Support release validation and UAT with stakeholders
- Mentor QA engineers and promote QA best practices
- Continuously improve QA processes and test coverage
Skills
- 6+ years of experience as QA Engineer
- 4+ years of experience in automation QA
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript testing practices
- Strong experience in testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or other E2E testing frameworks (Cypress or Selenium)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail, or similar)
- Ability to design and execute manual test cases (functional, integration, regression)
- Upper – Intermediate English level
- Experience with performance or accessibility testing
- Knowledge of BDD practices
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Previous experience in a QA Lead or QA ownership role
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering
