They are seeking a talented SEO Content Writer, B2C, to create engaging, high-quality content that informs and converts prospective students while strengthening the brand across various marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, informative, SEO-optimized B2C blog content, addressing U.S. Career Institute’s various career training and high school programs offered to prospective students, career changers, and adult learners
- Create persuasive video scripts that appeal to prospective students for marketing, social media, website, and promotional use
- Develop compelling marketing copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, brochures, and other digital and print marketing materials
- Collaborate with the SEO team to identify content opportunities and implement best practices that improve organic search performance
- Monitor content performance using analytics, audience insights, industry trends, internal and external feedback to improve engagement and effectiveness
- Work closely with the marketing team to align content with campaigns, brand messaging, and business objectives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and internal stakeholders to gather information and insights
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting messaging for different audiences, platforms and stages of the student journey
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field
- 3+ years of applicable experience
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience writing for B2C audiences in a variety of formats, including blog articles, reports/whitepapers, landing pages, video scripts, and more
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing best practices
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage timelines to ensure all projects and tasks are meeting key deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in all written materials
- Ability to adapt writing style based on audience, platform, and purpose
- Portfolio of writing samples (blogs, articles, reports, or scripts)
- Experience in education, edtech, or career training
