Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Olivia is a pioneering company in generative design AI, creating product images and marketing content through innovative technology. They are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to full-stack development and AI integration, allowing interns to work on impactful projects from the start.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with the founding engineers across our full stack:
- Full-stack features in a modern TypeScript codebase — React front end, Node back end, Prisma/Postgres
- AI agent and image-generation pipelines — integrating Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), GPT and other models; wiring up tools, prompts, and generation workflows
- Our real-time, WebGL-based design canvas and the systems that deliver generated images to it
- Whatever's most important that week — early-stage means you'll own meaningful pieces fast
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code and/or Codex (or comparable agentic tools like Cursor) — you know how to plan, prompt, review, and ship real code with an AI agent, not just autocomplete
- You can break a task down, delegate the right parts to an agent, and critically review what it produces instead of blindly accepting it
- You're excited to work in a codebase and workflow built around human + AI-agent collaboration
Skills
- Are in your final year of a CS/software program, a recent grad, or looking for a co-op term
- Are comfortable in JavaScript/TypeScript and have built something full-stack — school projects, hackathons, side projects, and past internships all count
- Have shipped or hacked on something with an AI/LLM API, or are hungry to learn fast
- Write clean, readable code and can work through ambiguity without a spec handed to you
- Care about the product and the user, not just the ticket

- React + Node in production or a serious side project
- Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, image generation, or agent frameworks
- Familiarity with Prisma, Postgres, or full-stack frameworks (we use Wasp — you don't need it going in, but learn fast)
- A public GitHub or portfolio of things you've actually built and shipped
Benefits
- Summer co-op (intern-to-hire potential)
