As a senior analyst, you will be defining growth potential and working with customers to deliver high-fidelity data and insights.
Responsibilities
- Work with our data stack: Python (Pandas to NLTK), Postgres/dbt, Looker, Excel, etc
- Lead client calls through technical analysis to provide recommendations and insights
- Ship reporting code and improve our data modeling layer to solve for our customers' needs
- Work on problems that don’t have a clearly defined answer, often helping define the “right” solution
- Communicate ideas and specifications through detailed, precise writing
- Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team
- Enjoy and have fun being creative and thinking outside of the box. You will need to draw on analogous situations you’ve worked on before, but we are not traversing well-traveled roads. “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”
Skills
- 6-8 years of experience as an individual contributor with experience using modern analytics and programming languages—we're in Python and dbt/Postgres every day
- A proven ability to interface with high-value customers and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Have a strong demonstrated toolkit to build ETLs and net new data visualizations/reports
- Have a proven track record of shipping high quality data analysis at a high cadence
- A passion for building intuitive technology and a thirst for learning
- Able to think through customer requirements and prioritize what is a must-have, nice-to-have, or irrelevant
- Have a strong technical skillset but also the willingness and ability to take over tasks outside your core competency
