As a Senior Instructional Designer, you'll partner with business leaders to transform complex operational and technical content into engaging learning solutions that improve performance and drive business results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end instructional design process using adult learning principles and the ADDIE methodology
- Design and develop engaging learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led training, videos, job aids, and performance support tools
- Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and create effective training programs
- Develop and maintain new-hire training curricula
- Manage multiple learning projects, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications
- Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, evaluations, and business impact analysis
- Administer and support learning technologies, including LMS platforms and authoring tools
Skills
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant instructional design and eLearning development experience
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience creating technical and systems-based training
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive projects to completion
- Expertise with Articulate 360 Storyline and Rise or Adobe Captivate
- Experience in school or corporate educational delivery
- Experience in healthcare, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or pharmaceutical environments
- LMS experience (Cornerstone preferred)
- Multimedia, graphic design, video editing, or AI-assisted content development experience
