The role of Sr. Platform Data Engineer focuses on the design, operation, and improvement of enterprise-wide data platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete data engineering platform lifecycle
- Establish and maintain platform standards and best practices
- Drive platform roadmaps and the adoption of modern data patterns
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps teams
- Provide technical guidance and enforce dbt standards for data engineers
Skills
- Strong experience managing enterprise data platforms
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Snowflake (advanced)
- Informatica (advanced)
- Dbt (advanced)
- AWS (advanced)
- CI/CD (advanced)
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments is preferred, particularly supporting federated development teams utilizing shared data platforms
