Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NorthStar Anesthesia is a company of caregivers, founded by an anesthesiologist and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). The Talent Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating key talent programs that drive employee engagement, performance, and development across the organization, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and leveraging data insights to enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end administration of the employee engagement survey, including survey setup, distribution, data analysis, and reporting
- Partner with HR and business leaders to translate engagement survey results into actionable insights that drive cultural and organizational improvements
- Coordinate the performance management process, including goal-setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, and continuous feedback cycles
- Provide guidance and support to employees and leaders on performance management best practices, system navigation, and process timelines
- Support the execution of talent review and succession planning processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and leadership priorities
- Assist in the design and implementation of talent development frameworks that foster career growth and internal mobility
- Leverage Workday and other HR systems to track talent data, generate reports, and provide insights on talent pipelines and workforce trends
- Collaborate with HR Analytics Lead and HR Business Partners and leadership to integrate representation and equity considerations into talent processes, including performance management and succession planning
- Support the execution of initiatives that enhance diverse talent pipelines and equitable opportunities for career progression
- Ensure that talent programs are designed with inclusivity and equitable access in mind
- Administer talent management processes within Workday in partnership with the HRIS team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Generate reports and dashboards from Workday and other sources to provide HR and business leaders with key insights on engagement, performance, and talent metrics
- Identify trends and opportunities based on data analysis and recommend process improvements
- Perform routine audits on talent data and work closely with HR Operations, Operations and HR Business Partners to ensure corrections are made timely
- Provide coordination and logistical support for leadership development programs as needed
- Partner with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to align talent initiatives with broader business goals
- Act as a resource for HR teams in talent-related inquiries, system functionality, and best practices
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in talent management, employee engagement, performance management, or a related HR function
- Experience administering HR processes in Workday HRIS is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across HR functions and with business leaders
- Strong attention to detail and process execution
- Analytical mindset with experience in HR data reporting
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence change
- Proficiency in HR technology, specifically Workday
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting representation and equity efforts within talent management processes is a plus
