[Remote] VMware Cloud Foundation Automation Engineer / Architect

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GAC Solutions is seeking a VMware Cloud Foundation Automation Engineer / Architect with strong experience in VMware Cloud Foundation and enterprise cloud automation. The role involves hands-on expertise in VMware Aria Automation and designing Infrastructure as Code, while also leading architecture discussions and providing cloud automation consulting.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on expertise in VMware Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Aria Logs for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
• Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated workflows, and self-service catalogs
• Strong knowledge of vSphere, NSX, and API-based automation for enterprise virtualization environments
• Proficient in PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation and orchestration
• Experience integrating VMware automation solutions with cloud platforms, ITSM tools, and enterprise applications
• Skilled in platform upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and automation framework optimization
• Ability to lead architecture discussions, client workshops, and provide cloud automation consulting
• Knowledge of ServiceNow integration, DevOps, multi-cloud automation, and cloud governance is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and client-facing communication skills

Skills

• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP – Automation 9.0) with strong experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and enterprise cloud automation
• Hands-on expertise in VMware Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Aria Logs for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
• Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated workflows, and self-service catalogs
• Strong knowledge of vSphere, NSX, and API-based automation for enterprise virtualization environments
