Welf is part of the Welfare Group and is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help originate and close high-value investment relationships. The role focuses on developing trusted investor relationships and converting qualified conversations into closed investment allocations.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with prospective investors and investment partners
- Generate new opportunities through personal network, proactive outreach, and relationship-led business development
- Run investor conversations from initial introduction through to commercial close
- Work across both direct and intermediary-led channels
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to progress opportunities effectively
- Maintain strong control of pipeline, follow-up, and deal progression
- Represent the business professionally in investor-facing meetings, calls, and written communications
- Travel as required based on prospect locations
Skills
- Strong experience in relationship-led sales, capital raising, investor coverage, or similar commercial roles
- Credibility with sophisticated private and professional investor audiences
- Strong self-generation capability and comfort creating opportunities from scratch
- Excellent commercial judgement and deal progression skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage complex, longer-cycle conversations
- Strong experience in relationship-led sales, capital raising, or investment-facing business development
- Commercially sharp and credible with sophisticated investors
- Able to build momentum across multiple channels
- Experience in real estate or closely related investment markets
